Why are there no standard potentials more negative than – 3V, and more positive than about +2V, in aqueous solution

Actually its -4.10 and 3.05.
They are actually relative potentials.
Their absolute might be greater or lower but they are taken with respect to Hydrogen.
In that way it doesn't happen to cross these values.
