the given arrangement of the flat plate and staircaselike structure is equivalent to the parallel combinatio of 3 cap.c1 c2 c3. the plate area of each of the 3 cap. is a/3 ,while the seperation between the plate of 3 cap. is d 2d 3d soooooooo answer will be

Solve it further by taking  ε○A/3 common from the given equation the final answer u got is ε○A(3d2+6bd+2b2)/3d(b+d)(2b+d)
