here  i think you did big mistake i.e.; here,   e.ds = Q net /epsilon 0 ;  so epsilon0 is not equal to e (electric field). and your answer is:   here is the el. field of space  because  your charge q  may be at  the space and Gaussian surface also defined for space. plz aprove my answer.
