A capacitor has capacitance C. Is this information sufficient to know what maximum charge the capacitor can contain ? If yes, what is this charge? If no, what other information is needed ?

maximum charge is stored in principle at time t=∞. therefore the maximum charge stored will be EC where E is the emf of the cell connected & C is the capacitance. therefore to find maximum charge stored in a capacitor emf of the cell should also be known.
