WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) 2015 will be conducted by the Government of West Bengal for students who wish to pursue undergraduate courses in Engineering / Medical / Architecture / Technology / Dental or Pharmacy in the pre-eminent universities or colleges located in West Bengal.
The counselling procedure for WBJEE 2015 will start from July 8, 2015 with online registrations until July 15, 2015. Candidates should note that the Counselling Procedure for WBJEE 2015 will commence with the submission of online applications by WBJEE 2015 successful candidates, who need to submit the fees and keep on filling up their choices of preferred branches and institutes. WBJEE 2015 Counselling Procedure will comprise of three rounds. Candidates can peruse the Counselling Procedure, which is mentioned in detail below.
The registration process is for the three rounds of the Counselling Procedure only.
An additional fourth round may be conducted if there are vacancies (only for informed choice), and candidates may register anew as declared by the procedure.
For online registration, all successful candidates at JEE Main 2015/WBJEE 2015 need to submit their JEE Main 2015/WBJEE 2015 Roll number, Application number as well as Date of Birth and Name
In case of successful registration, candidates need to download the e-challan and are required to pay a counselling fee of WBJEE 2015, which is non-refundable. Candidates should pay Rs 506/- (which is inclusive of service charge) at any Allahabad Bank branch with CBS (Core Banking System).
After successful payment, candidates need to submit the e-challan details of payment.
Note: Candidates should keep the Bank E-Challan Receipt safe and secure because it is a vital part of the Admission Procedure at WBJEE 2015 Reporting Centres.
During the Counselling Process, the data of every candidate that has been recorded and archived in the WBJEEB database will not be changed or corrected under any circumstance by the candidates.
WBJEE 2015 Choice Filling will be based on the eligibility test, which is JEE Main 2015 or WBJEE 2015.
Candidates who have qualified for both JEE Main 2015 and WBJEE 2015 need to present a list of choices against JEE (Main) seats or WBJEE seats.
Candidates should obtain a printout of their choices post locking them between July 14, 2015 and July 16, 2015 by 5 pm.
Allocation of seats for WBJEE Counselling Procedure 2015 will be decided based on the unfilled vacancies (as stated by the Seat Matrix that is received from DTE, West Bengal) and the candidates’ choices and preferences.
Allotment of Seats for WBJEE 2015
Seat Allotment for WBJEE 2015 will be based on the AIR (All India Rank) for JEE Main 2015 and GMR (General Merit Rank) for WBJEE 2015.
The seat allotment process will take into consideration the locked choices by the candidates against the total number of vacancies.
Seat Allotment Letters of WBJEE need to be downloaded and printed by the candidates.
Candidates who withdraw from any one of the three Counselling Rounds will not get another chance until the fourth round of WBJEE 2015 Counselling Procedure, where they will be offered an opportunity for admission based on the vacancies available.
Payment of Fees and Verification of Documents at Reporting Centres
Candidates need to bring the verified documents as mentioned below at the specified centre and submit a stipulated fee by Demand Draft in favor of WBJEE 2015, which is payable at Kolkata.
