we can write tan 46 = tan(90 –44) = cot 44
similarily tan 47 = cot 43
then we get the question as
tan 1. tan 2. tan3. …...tan44 – cot 1. cot 2. cot3. …...cot44
we know that- from 0 to 45 degree cot x is greater than tanx
thus its value will be negative.
