Given,
sin4θ+sin2θ=1
or, sin4θ=1−sin2θ
or, sin4θ=cos2θ.......(1).
Now,
tan4θ−tan2θ
=cos4θsin4θ−tan2θ
=cos2θ1−tan2θ [ Using (1)]
=sec2θ−tan2θ
=1.
