use cotA= 1/tanA
now LHS=
(1−tan2A tan6A)/(1+tan2A tan6A)
 
now use tanA= sinA/cosA
hence furthur
=(cos6A cos2A− sin6A sin2A)/(cos6A cos2A+ sin6A sin2A)
=[cos(6A+2A)]/[cos(6A-2A)]
= cos8A/cos4A
hence proved
