LHS = 1/ (secA + tanA) – 1/cosA = secA – tanA – secA = – tanA
 
RHS = 1/ cosA – 1/(secA – tanA) = secA – (secA + tanA) = – tanA
 
As LHS = RHS
 
Hence proved
