simply take sin on both sides and multiply by ab, to get
c^2= xroot(b^2-y^2)+yroot(a^2-x^2)
square both sides and rearrange to get
c^4-x^2b^2-a^2y^2= 2xy[ root{(b^2-y^2)(a^2-x^2)} – xy]....(1)
now, a^2b^2 – c^4= a^2b^2 – x^2b^2 – y^2a^2– 2xy[ root{(b^2-y^2)(a^2-x^2)} – xy]
taking root both sides we get
root(a^2b^2 – c^4)= – xy + root(b^2-y^2)(a^2-x^2)......(2)
from (1) nd (2), we have
c^4=x^2b^2+a^2y^2+2xyroot(a^2b^2 – c^4)
