cot^2y+1= cosec^2y
or alpha^2/tan^2x + 1= beta^2/sin^2x
alpha^2 + tan^2x= beta^2*sec^2x
alpha^2 + sec^2x – 1= beta^2*sec^2x
or sec^2x= (alpha^2 – 1)/(beta^2 – 1)
