area will be 24 sq unit.Since this forum don`t allow to draw the diagram therefore it`s not possible to describe it in pictorial representation.Here are the steps to find area.1 Draw the square and mark all the points given. Allot them their coordinates like A(0,6), B (0,0), R(4,2) , D(6,6).2 find the equation of BQ and PD lines and solve them to find coordinates of R.3 find area of ABRD by determinant method.
