Dear Student,
tan π/9, x, tan 5π/9 and tan π/9, y, tan 7π/9 are in AP.
Therefore 2x =  tan 5π/9 +  tan π/9 and 2y =  tan π/9 +  tan 7π/9.
Therefore 2x + 2y =  tan 7π/9 +  tan 5π/9 + 2 tan π/9.
