first eqn cn be written as sintheta + sin3theta +sin 2 theta= sin alpha
or sin2theta(1+2costheta)= sinalpha
similarly second eqn cn b writen as cos2theta(1+2costheta)= cosalpha
divide both eqns to get tan2theta= tanalpha
or 2theta= alpha
or theta = alpha/2
