Dear student

sec x – tan x = 1/ ( sec x + tanx) = 3/2

Now add both the equations-

2 sec x = 3/2 + 2/3 = 13 /6

sec x = 13/12

cos x = 12/13

hence

sin x = 5/13

Secx + tanx = 2/3   ------1
Sec2x - tan2x = 1
(Secx - tanx) (secx + tanx) = 1
Secx - tanx = 3/2    -------2
Adding 1 and 2 we get,
Secx = 13/12 => cosx = 12/13
Subtracting 2 from 1 we get,
Tanx = -5/12 =>sinx/cosx = -5/12 =>sinx = -5/13
