Dear student

square both the equations and add them

we will get

3 + 2 {cos( alpha -beta) + cos (beta – gamma) + cos (gamma- alpha)} = 0

hence
2{cos( alpha -beta) + cos (beta – gamma) + cos (gamma- alpha)} = – 3

{cos( alpha -beta) + cos (beta – gamma) + cos (gamma- alpha)} = – 3/2
