let alpha=r and beta=s
in the first eqn put y=sinx
so y^2+ay+b=0 has roots sinr and sins
so sinr+sins= –a
and sinr*sins= b
similarly from second eqn
cosr+coss= –c
and coss*cosr= d
we know that sinr+sins= 2sin(r+s)/2*cos(r-s)/2= –a
cosr+coss = 2cos(r+s)/2*cos(r-s)/2= –c
divide
tan(r+s)/2= a/c
let r+s= 2z
so tanz= a/c
we gotta find the value of sin2z= 2tanz/(1+tan^2z)
=2ac/(a^2+c^2)
