A rail road curve is to be laid out on a circle. If the track is to change its direction by 28 degrees in a dist. of 44 m then the radius of the curve is? ans: d = 2πrθ/360 => 44 = 56πr/360 =>r = (360*44)/56π =>r = (360*44*7)/56*22 =>r = 90m in this solution derive for: d = 2πrθ/360

ans:d = 2πrθ/360
=> 44 = 56πr/360
=>r = (360*44)/56π
=>r = (360*44*7)/56*22
=>r = 90m

in this solution derive for:
d = 2πrθ/360

we aleady know that
d=rθ hereθ is in radian and
360=2π radian
1 =2π/360
just convert this radian in degree now
