hey!!

i am in 1st yr now. and wanna know how the authors know, where to substitute and modify the form the equation in trigonometry problems..

when we solve, we never get to know that we can use such tricks..

is it plain practice? or is there something more to it??

bcz when we dont get the required answer for about 5-6 problems continuosly, we tend to get demoralized..

whats the solution??? please help..
