two points p and q are on the same side of line l .pr is perpendicular to l and qs is perpendicular to l and m is midpoint of pq ,then sow that RM = SM?
pls help me with the que by giving suitable explanation!
thank u !
Dear Aditya,
Its very simple,
since m is the midpoint PM=QM
Lets consider the line to be x axis, for making it simple.
the perpendiculars of P and Q on this line denote the x coordinates of P and Q respectively.
similarly the coordinates of M on this line would be exactly in between R and S as M is given by (x1+x2)/2
as given from figure the triangle formed by MSR is isosceles triangle. so RM=SM
