(√1-sin^2100)sec100= can be written as:
√(cos^2100)sec100 = k (let)
k = cos100*sec100 = 1
.i.e. k = + 1
and
-cos100*sec100 = k
k= -1
Now since sec100 is negative and thus -ve is multiplied with positive will always give a negative one.
Hence k = +! iss being neglected.
answer is k = -1.
