In steam turbines why the condenser is provided? Here the heat energy of steam is lost and steam is converted to water and pumped to boiler for reuse. In this process we are losing a lot of heat at condenser. Why condenser is required? Why can't the steam coming out of turbine be directly sent to boiler for further heating? Is there any practical difficulty? Pls explain.
