How to derive the relation : Cp/Cv= gamma???? From the basic terms

Dear Siddhi,
Cp/Cv= gamma has been assumed as the ratio of specific heats at constant pressure and at constant volume respectively.
It has uses in the expressions involed in derivation of isentropic compression and expansion respectively.
Hence it is used as gamma to reduce the complexities in the eqns.
