Al2(CH3)6 is formed by banana bonding in which tricentric bond is present ie.,between two atoms instead of 2 electrons in a bond 1 electron is present therefore .it is always electron deficient .and does not follow octet rule .For instance ... One Al forms 4 bonds ...In two bonds 4 e- present and in other 2 bonds only 2 e-s
