Why dipole movement takes place..............???????

Dipole moment arises due to the difference in electronegativity between two elements.
You can add to your knowledge that the element having higher electronegativity attracts the shared pair of electrons towards itself. So, it acquires a partial negative charge. On the other hand, an element having lower electronegativity, acquires partial positive charge owing to electron displacement away from it.
Considering the structure of water, oxygen having higher electronegativity attracts the shared electron pairs towards itself. So, it acquires a partial positive charge. The electron clouds are being displaced away from the two hydrogen atoms. So, they acquire partial positive charges.
