Alkali metals foubd in nature in combined state. They constitute the 1 group in the periodic table and are very reactive metals.Their valence shell configuration suggest the loss of single valence electron help in acheiving noble gas configuration,so these elements readily combines with other elements like non-metals.This is why they do not found in nature in single form but exist in combined state.
