As adsorption of a gas increases with the tendency of its liquefaction and liquification tendncy is less for non polar molecules than polar molecules.Chlorine is  a non polar molecule whereas hydrogen sulphide is a polar molecule. Hence hydrogen sulphide will be adsobed by charcoal more.
