The quantity of a substance whose weight in grams is equal to molecular weight of substance given. 
For example take H2O.1 mole of H2O has 18 grams wieght.1 gram H2O has 1/18 moles.And 1/18 moles has 6.023*10^23 / 18 molecules.So 1 gram molecule has a wieght of 
18 / 6.023*10^23 grams
