einsteins relation
hv – hv0 =  ½ mv2
hv – energy of incident beam
hv0- work function (minimum energy required to observe photoelectric effect)
1/2mv2- kinetic energy with which the electron gets projected out if the energy of incident beam is greater than work function)

Thanks,
BEST OF LUCK

@ pintu
einsain gave the concept of photoelectric current , and acc to him the law is like the below
1- suppose some energy are supplied to the metal in the form of photon , then that energy will be utilised in two ways ,
(i) to eject the electron out of the metal , that is the work function .
(ii) the rest of the energy are used to give kinetic energy to the photoelectrons .
so, the equation will be formed like this
hv= phi + ½ mv square (max )
in whichg the term meanings are
hv = energy carries on the photon
phi- work function
1/2 mvsquare (max ) = max kinetic energy
there are many form of this equation , u can alaos equate k.e (max )  = ev0
