The space between two molecules in any substance is called intermolecular space or interparticle space. When we makes solution, e.g. alcohol in water, a part of the solute goes in the interparticle space.Whereas intramolecular space is the space present within a molecule. Intermolecular force is the force acting between two different molecules. For example the intermolecular hydrogen bond.
