A conjugate base is merely what is left after an acid has donated a proton in a chemical reaction. Hence, a conjugate base is a species formed by the removal of a proton from an acid. Conjucate base is simply removing H+ ion from the given compound. So the answer is O-....(C)

According to Bronsted and Lowry theory, self generated acid base pair due to donation or acceptance of proton is known as conjugated acid base pair.Conjugated acids and bases differ by proton. Thus every acid has one excess proton than it’s conjugated base.If OH- loses proton, then O2- ion is obtained.Hence conjugated base of OH- is O2-
