The penetration power is the ability of an electron in an orbital to get attracted towards the nucleus.
The penetration power is the ability of an electron in an orbital to get attracted towards the nucleus.
The more an electron in an orbital is closer to the nucleus, the more is its penetrating power.
The s- orbital has greatest penetration power due to its closeness towards the nucleus.
