What is n-half lives in a first order reaction?Please describe me its physical significance.

For First Order reaction the thalf relation with the constant K is given as:
k = 0.693/t1/2
And theoretically it means,
for one t1/2 the initaial concnetration would consumed be half and the remaining would be => half too that is let say suppose C/2.
For 2 t1/2 the conctrn. remained would be => C/4
for 3 t1/2 the conctn. would be C/8
and so on and therfore the conctn. remained would be for n half life wouldd be=>
that is n t1/2 the concn. would be => C/(2^n)
