physical chemistry is a branch of chemistry concerned with the application of the techniques and theorams of physics to study the chemical systems . 
it have many uses like u have to make a glucose water solution , then u need to calculate the moles of glucose that it can dissolve max . 
and it have many broad uses also in industries .
