Disproportionation reaction is a redox is the reaction in which same element undergo oxidation as well as reduction.
2SiO(o.n=+2) <---->SiO2(o.n=+4) + Si(o.n=0)

u can see that oxidation number of Si reduce from+2 to 0
at the same time increase from +2 to +4
