Galvanic cells that convert energy of combustion of fuels like hydrogen, methane, methanol
etc directly into electrical energy are called fuel cells.

fuel cell is a device that converts the chemical energy from a fuel into electricity through a chemical reaction of positively charged hydrogen ions with oxygen or another oxidizing agent..
in shortly u can say its the cell which produce electric current directly from a chemical reaction ..
