So you are asking about VOLATILE, It refers to a property of some chemicals to vaporise readily; for example Alocohol, it vaporise very fast and produces a cooling action.
Also you can say that Volatility is the tendency of a substance to vaporise and it relates to the vapour pressure of that substance. higher the vapour pressure higher the tendency to vaporise.
