What does this mean: ACTIVATION ENERGY FOR THE FLOW AS I have read that it is the energy required to start a chemical reaction/ so what is its meaning in the FLOW. is it energy required for the liquid to flow or any thing else. PLEASE MAKE ME UNDERSTAND

In simple words you can say that activation energy is the minimum energy for the start of any process,wether it is chemical reaction or flow of fluid.In the flow of viscous fluid the molecules have to overcome the sorrounding barrier.or in other words resitance.It is the energy required to overcome the barrier
