what do you mean by pseudo 1st order reaction?

Pseudo order means that apparent reaction order is small is different from actual reaction order.
This may happen for reactions with two or more reactants.
If one reactant is in large excess,. its concentration change due to reaction is negligible small. Hence the overall reaction rate becomes virtually independent from this compound.
