Primary cell (or) Battery: ‘The battery after its use over a period of time become dead and
the cell reaction is completed and this can’t be reused again is called primary battery.

Secondary Battery: A battery in which both charging and discharging takes place is called
secondary battery. It can be recharged and used again

primary battery is a portable voltaic cell that is not rechargeable..A common dry cell is the zinc–carbon battery, sometimes called the dry Leclanché cell, with a nominal voltage of 1.5 volts, the same as the alkaline battery (since both use the same zinc–manganese dioxide combination).
secondary cell -A rechargeable electric
cell that converts chemical energy into electrical energy by a reversible chemical reaction. Also called storage cell..
