no dal planes are those where the probability of finding the electrons is zero .
the dz2 orbitals has two main regions of electron density , along the z axis and some of the electron density are also present in x-y plane .
thus it have two cone shaped nodal plane
so, it called as nodal cones .
nodal planes are assumption concept by various observation
