schordinger equation is not that much imp from jee advanced point of view , it will be asked in jee mains , 
they will only ask u the equation as well as 2 of the value will be given and the rest value u have to calculate . 
jee advanced will combine the 2-3 concept in a single ques . that means , in a single ques they will ask schordinger equation + quantum number concept . 
so, quantum no. is must imp i can say , as well as the 3 principle for filling the orbitals in diffrent orbitals . 
also , study the overlapping of px-px. py-py , orbitals and their charecteristics , they are VVIMP FOR ADVANCED . 
just take out the last 37 years ques paper book of arihant , and keep practice , that is more than enough for this chaPTER.
