Sol. N2 has triple bond and each covalent bond is associated with one pair of electrons, therefore, six electrons are involved in forming bonds in N2.

The ans is 6 because in n2 there is a tripe bond and as we know the nitrogen have 5 electrons in their valance shell.so it need 3 more electron in order to attain nobal gas configration.so 3_3 electrons of both nitrogen takes part in forming n2 molecules.....and hence no. Of electron take part in forming the bond is 3+3=6
