rate constant of first order reaction is given by k=2.303/T (Log (initial concentration)/(final concentration)) initial concentration=100 final concentration=50 T=60min k=2.303/60 log(100/50) k=.01155 min^-1 Thus the rate constant of the reaction is .01155min^-1
