Polymer containing strong intermolecular forces like hydrogen bonding operate in polyamides( ex-nylon-66).Because of strong forces operate between them polymer possess high tensile strength and high modulus, and thus they are used for making fibre.Beside this such forces also lead to close packing of chains.
