C= 1s2 2s2 2p2C+4 = 1s2 electrons having l=1 that is p electron is 0.O= 1s2 2s2 2p4O-2 = 1s2 2s2 2p6p electrons = 6Hence answer is 6l values _____s 0p 1d 2d 3

No of electrons in CO2+ is 12 . So electronic configuration becomes 1s2 2s2 2p6 3s2. So according to question l=1 is for p orbital. No of electrons in p orbital is 6 . Hence the answer is 6 electrons
