  • Molality can be defined as "Total moles of a solute present in one kilogram of a solvent." The terms need, thus, to calculate molality are Moles of solute and the mass of solvent in kilograms.
  • dissolving one gram of the solute in 1000 grams of solvent, will be called as 1 molal solution or 1m solution
  • Formula :

Molality = Number of moles of solute / Mass of solvent in kilograms

THEREFORE, Ans will be

Molality= [0.1/500]*1000

Molality =0.2
