Here H2SO4 is the oxidised product as the oxidation state of sulphur atom the reactant has been changed that is increased from +4 to +6 respectively.

In SO2 + Mg-------> MgO2 + S

MgO2 is the oxidized product as Mg has changed from 0 to +2 oxidation state.
