There are many factors which affect adsorption of different adsorbate on different absorbent. One of those is nature of adsorbent(in the process of adsorption the substance on the surface of which other substances gets collected or accumulated) : the substance which provides more surface area is good absorbent. Generally porous substances provide more surface for adsorption. Charcoal is also porous and one of the good absorbent. One another factor affecting adsorption is nature of adsorbate (in the process of adsorption the substance which get accumulated on another substance.) : it is observed that the gases which are easily liquified and highly soluble in water are easily absorbed bcoz vapour of liquid are easily absorbed than permanent gases. Only 1 gm of charcoal adsorb nearly 380 cm ^3 of SO2 because SO2 is more easily liquefiable than other gases.

Dear Parth

A gas which is easy to liquify, is most readily adsorbed. Thus, out of the given four choices SO2 will be most readily adsorbed.
