Eq wt of an caid is given by=Mol.wt of acid/acidity
For the reaction
Pb + PbO2 + 2H2SO4 ---- 2PbSO4 + 2H2O
The above reaction,see in the above process in sulfuric acid two hydrogen atoms are displaced .Thus the eq.wt of H2SO4=Molecular wt/No of replacable hydrogen(acidity)=98/2=49
